Terms of Service

1. The service

Bonikly is online software for running businesses: sales, stock, dues, accounts, staff and related tools. You use it in a web browser; we host and maintain it. Features available to you depend on your plan.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract on behalf of the business you register.
• Give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• The person who creates an organization is its owner. Owners decide who else can use it and what each person can see. Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Your data

• Everything you enter — products, sales, customers, suppliers, accounts — belongs to you. We use it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for having the right to store information about your own customers, suppliers and staff in Bonikly, and for the accuracy of the records you keep, including for tax purposes.
• Bonikly helps you keep records; it does not give accounting, tax or legal advice.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use Bonikly for anything illegal, including recording the sale of stolen goods or hiding income from the authorities;
• try to access another organization's data, test our security without written permission, or disrupt the service;
• copy, resell or rent out Bonikly itself, or use automated tools to load it heavily;
• upload malware or content that infringes someone else's rights.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

5. Free trial and plans

• New organizations get a free trial of the Growth plan for the number of days shown on the pricing page. No payment is needed to start.
• Each plan has limits (businesses, team members, monthly transactions) and included features, listed on the pricing page. Limits apply to the whole organization.
• The Free plan is available at no charge with smaller limits. We may change what the Free plan includes.

6. Payment

• Prices are in Bangladeshi taka (BDT) and are paid in advance for a month or a year.
• You can pay by bKash, or by bKash Send Money, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer followed by entering the transaction ID. A plan starts once the payment is confirmed. A transaction ID can be used only once.
• Plans do not renew automatically. Renewing the same plan before it ends adds time from the current end date.
• If you do not renew, you have a grace period of 7 days, after which Free plan limits apply. We do not delete your data because a plan ended.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Bonikly available and your data safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or remove features; if we remove a major paid feature you rely on, you may ask for a proportional refund of the unused period.

8. Ending the agreement

• You can stop using Bonikly at any time. To close your account and delete your organization's data, contact us.
• We may end or suspend your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Unless the reason is illegal activity, we will give you at least 30 days to export your data.

9. Liability

Bonikly is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Bangladesh.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Dhaka.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify owners by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Bonikly after that means you accept the new terms.
